Ok, I'm trying to experiment with CFS 3 and FS2004.  My goal is to completely transform a CFS 3 aircraft from its m3d file file, and into an mdl file.  Hopefully the plane will be flyable in FS2004.  So heres my problem.  My copy of gmax doesn't have the import, export scripts for either program.  I have the makemdl sdk for fs9 and the aircraft kit for CFS 3, but gmax doesn't have the scripts I need to view the aircraft in gmax.  So heres my question, where can I find the import and export scripts I need. Can anyone help?  

You CANNOT decompile a compiled aircraft.

You'd need the source gmax file, from which to export in either FS2004 or CFS3 formats.
