Control Surfaces Question

Hello again,

My pet project requires some oddball control surface commands to be added in order to function as required.

What most people will do is create a copy of the control surface.  The parent will be named "l_aileron"  and the copy " l_flap"  for example.  (or really, use the keyframe equivalents, since you'll be doing specific animations)

animate each part normally.

link one (say, l_flap) to the other.

delete all points except four (you can even set it as a Hierarchy node so that no geometry is created on cimpilation) and so it won't be seen.

Hopefully, visually one part will seem to be doing the work of two.

Thanks Felix, I'll give it a go and let you know how it works out - only unsure about how to link the parts together, is this accomplished using the hierarchy mode alone (checking the appropriate box) or is there another step involved?
