Hello all !

I am a beginner with Gmax.I made a simple plane.I also installed makemdl.exe and the plugin for it as I read in this forum, but when I try to export the plane into .mdl there is an error message :
"Makemdl was not found,or failed to connvert the model etc..."

I also tried it whit the example P-38,but all is the same :(

Any idea? thanks

Install MDLCommander and when you run the next export open the option tab and check Keep Error Log. Post what you capture back here and we'll go from there.

Well if you have everything installed including MDLCommander, MakeMDL will halt during export. When it does, you will see a row of tabs along the top of MakeMDL. In this row of tabs you will find the Options tab, third one from the left. Open it and place a check in the box next to Keep Error Log. When you do this, and an error occurs in the export there is going to be a text file written to the folder you are exporting to. Copy the contents of the text file and post it back here so I can read it.
