Salute all! Been model'n for a little while now but still I am very much an Uber-noob and with my standard copy of FS2002, it looks like I won't be able to export, at least by myself. I would like to Develop a sort of FS "MOD", a collection of planes/scenery/flights. First thing I thought of was a test pilot add-on. a couple of days into the idea I have little work started but many ideas, Maybe MSFS isn't the engine for this, but I'd luv to hear what people think, Thanks for ya time.

P.S. anyone have info on the he176 or bell X-1?

Two things .. . the image was way too large (size and file size) for this forum, so I took the liberty of resizing it and uploading it to the simviation uploads site.  Note that your original large gif is untouched in its URL.

I note that you've modeled with Wings3D.  I don't think the modelling capabilities of Wings3D are "good enough" to make full use of the MSFS eye candy.

As for converting for FS2002, since you're not using gmax, as long as you can save your model to a direct X file (I'm not sure if that's one of the native exporters for Wings3D), you can use makemdl.exe directly.

Nice looking model, though!!

Hiya felix, sorry bout the image size, in the future I'll run the screenies though photoshop. About the wings, I make a primitive model in wings and import .3DS into G-Max, I find the flow of wings unbeatable. sadly G-Max is where the most help. Learning much with the forum posts here. love this site, THX
