Uncapping cylinder

Postby knife-edge » Fri Aug 13, 2004 8:25 pm

How do you uncap a cylinder in gmax? I thought I could just select all the faces of the cap and delete, but this leaves me with a funky looking object, no longer resembling a cylinder.

Thanks,

Jeff

I assume you mean deleting the top of the cylinder?

Doing what you did usually works for me.  What do you mean it leaves you with a funky looking object?  What does it look like?  Post a screenshot if you can . . .

This might help, though.  Instead of selecting by "face", select by "polygon".
