The document I refer to is on this site and was by Gerard van Der Harst.
I have my wing object which was extruded and not capped. the leading edge I select 6 edges and create an object from these 6 edges so I can get the same shape of the leading edge to form my wingtip.
Then I create a line from the trailing edge to the leading edge that will be the general line of the wingtip that will be the "spline" my wingtip loft uses
Then I select from the hierarchy panel affect pivot only, and center the pivot until i tis at the leadign edge vertex, then I select the 6 edges object I created from teh leading edge, and click geometry->compound objects loft button, and then I select get shape button, then I select the wingtip spline, and voila I get an inverted partial leading edge around my spline instead of what the document says I am supposed to get.
This is kind of scaring me I think maybe my objects are not orientated correclty and might lead to future probems? I was reading horror stories about things that get messed up because the backface's are all inverted and can be a real bitch to fix on complex objects.

Do you see what I mean?? I may need to setup a website with photos of my steps.
Thanks,
Jeff.
