Scale Aviation Modeller Intl (SAMI) issue of May 2004 (just received in Orlando, so, okay, I'm a month or so behind) includes an article on building a 1/.48th scale plastic model from Accurate Miniatures.
While the article is liberally illustrated with details of the modelling process, it also inclueds a photo album of "the real thing" and reproductions from the manuals of such things as the cockpit details, coolant/radiator systems, tailwheel unit, etc.
The scale plan included in this issue is the Lockheed F-80 Shooting Star, 1/48th scale along with detail colour profiles of USAF/USN, Brazilian and Chilean AF machines.
