				FSDSV2 animation for outrigger floats

I am experimenting with building an amphibian aircraft in FSDSv2. I have built the visual model with the outrigger pontoons like the Pby, the wing tips are the floats, they should rotate on arms to the deployed position.
I have all the parts modeled and ready to animate. They are named with the keyframe animation names pontoon_r and pontoon_l. I am designing for Fs2002.
Does anyone know what keyboard command would controls the pontoon keyframe animation in the sim? And when I am setting the animations should I set the 0 keyframe with the out rigger up or down. Any replys or other suggestions will be welcome. Thanks!

				There is no pontoon animation.
I would suggest using the "water_rudder_deploy" keyframe names.
0 is up if I remember correctly.

Roger that! Thanks! SilverFox. The floats are one on each wingtip. Would I need to add a modifier like _l and _r to the name. Like this, water_rudder_deploy_r and water_rudder_deploy_l, so each part will deploy on its own axis?

				Sounds like a plan!
Seriously, that should work.

Spoiler key would be good too that way you can automatically get them to add a little drag.

I think I will try it both ways, see which give the most realistic feel. I was thinking of modeling spoilers as seperate parts. I am using jet power plants mounted mid wing. So seperate spoiler control may be more usefull as a flight controll in short airstrip landings. Thanks for the suggestion Gnome!
SilverFox I know you like Scifi designs, you may want to check out my web site
http://www.geocities.com/airforge_design/index.htmlThe Barsoom flyer has not been finished yet. But the pic is fairly good. Trouble getting the Zephyr to land on water in FS2002 is what prompted the experiment with this float plane. I will try to get a pic of the float plane posted on that site soon.

I like the Drachevogel.  Very Roger Dean.

Just one question left. How do you adjust the height that a float plane sits in the water in Fs2002? I have tried adjusting the height of the float contact points and see no change.
