Viewpoint distance in spot view

Can anyone please help me?!

I've got an aircraft in GMax. When I load it into FS2004, the aircraft shows up as a reasonable size in the preview window and when I launch the flight, the distance to the aircraft in Spot View is correct. OK so far!

Have now added a brake 'chute (on wingfold command) to the model. The preview and the spot view is now much further away from the aircraft.

Does anyone have any idea how to change this standard spot view distance within GMax?? I think FS resizes the view to allow for the extra length of the aircraft with the 'chute deployed but it looks daft!!

Any ideas would be very welcome.

Thanks in advance

Hi
Had the same problem with my mirage drag chute in fsds,I found that if you animate a part of chute with an animation that is retracted/hiden(things like flaps wingfold tailhook will normally always be visable) then the prob go's away (I used c_wheel to give the chute a bit of wobble when on the deck)
