UVW mapping

Postby nickname » Mon May 03, 2004 5:03 am

Looking for some help with mapping. I have applied the maps using a multi material and individual UVW maps for each of the individual sub materials, then used the UVW unwrap function for positioning. In Gmax all is well (image1) but in CFS3 the texturing is completely up the spout(image2). Any direction offered would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers,

Looks like you've converted your textures using that M$ image tool?
It has the nasty habit to flip textures around.
You don't need it at all.
If you're using either photoshop or paintshop, use the nividia dds plugin to convert your stuff.
