hi there, is it possible to move a virtual cockpit from an aircraft that has it to another? ex: moving the vc from the 737 default to another 737 that doesn't have it!!
I know it's in the model file, but is it possible to open this file  and selecxt only the VC? and then copy it to another mdl file?

I suppose if you can decompile the MDL files.  I don't know about GMAX but with FSDS I have to create two models. One for Ext view and one for VC view. So then the answer is yes, it's just a matter of copy and paste.

I don't know if the MDL files can be decompiled or not, never needed to. I'm sure someone will guide you in that area.

THeoretically, yes - if you open the compiled MDL file with a hex editor and can figure out/identify the VC components.  I know I can't.

For practical purposes, you can't.  A VC is unique to the model.

If you were to have the source files of two 737s, one with and one without VC, you could copy/paste the VC parts from one to the other.

it was that very problem that led me to starting my own 737 project with a vc ::)
