MakeMDL Error - "Node XXX has a scale applied"

Postby Dusty019 » Sat Mar 13, 2004 8:40 pm

I get an error when trying to export gmax to a .mdl.

"Node XXX has a scale applied. Remove before exporting"

(xxx = part name)

The origional gmax model was started by someone else, but I am just continuing with it.

Where and how do I remove these scales???

select your part, click the heirachy tab, click scale, that should do it.It seems to happen to me alot when I move the pivot points so now I do it automatic. aceronzo

Well, that alone didn't work.  I went digging in th eentire parts heirachy, and renammed everything to the simplest name, and one that I saw on various accepted parts heirarchies.

Somewhere along the way I fixed whatever gmax and makeMDL didn't like, because it worked.

Which name it was.......I'll never know, I must have renammed, and attached at least 20 parts.....
