Hello,
first of all see the tutorial:
http://perso.wanadoo.fr/hsors/FS_Soft/fsdocs.htmlthen ask on the Decode Forum there is a link on that site or:
http://www.avhistory.org/scripts/MegaBB ... ?forumid=5At a guess torgue is only in ft lbs. If I push at 2 lb force on a 3 ft long spanner I will exert a torque of 6 ft lb.
May be you are thinking of power which is also proportional to RPM.
This is about torque:
http://www.lerc.nasa.gov/WWW/K-12/airplane/short.htmland click on torques.

He's my problem:
Rolls Royce AE1107C Turbo Prop engine. The only data I can find is 6150 shp. Nothing in ft-lbs.
Every conversion chart I look at only gets it in units of ft-lbs/sec, ft-lbs/min, or ft-lbs/hr.
