Project 737-683 ( SAS )

Postby Mike Thurman » Tue Mar 09, 2004 9:58 am

Well, my birthday is coming up ( Namely the 19th ) and i put the PMDG 737 on my list. My dad looked at the prices, and well....err, lets just say he didn't approove....He reccomended i make my own, since i have the time.

It will feature: Custom 2d panel, full moving parts, dynamic shine & reflective textures, checklists, manuals, optional Virtual Cockpit, Passenger Cabin ( 1st class ) or wing veiws....

I'm off to a nice start:

Nose is still being worked on...

Nice thrust reversers.... ;D

Flaps being worked on..

A good veiw of Gear, reversers, flaps, spoilers, and the exits...

" When will i get out of this blasted workshop?? This is so boring! Can they at least test fly me?"  ................ ;D

Hope you enjoyed,

Mike ;D

hey! you stole my birthday! that's also on the 19th! I'm 16 though. lol. Won't ask as its not my place to but anyway.

You oughta scour these few pages for Moach's post (i think its moach, someone correct me if im wrong please). He did an absolutely superb 737 that he had to put up for adoption as far as i know. at least thats what i think happened. i dont know if anyone took it on mind you. but it'd be worth your while talking to him.

Even so thats superb work mate. I'm looking forward to a half decent 737. the ms one just doesnt cut it with me and the pmdg one is well.. slow.
regards
dano! :D

that's a nice looking plane you got there.... ;)

and speaking of birthdays, yesterday was mine... i'm 19 now ::)

my 737 was not handed out after all... (not completely, at least) i got some people helping me out, but i honestly don't know how much longer it might take  :P

yesterday i remodeled my plane's nose, so it would look more like the photographs i saw...
maybe i'll post another update sometime this week...

btw: the reason i started my plane was precisely PMDG's absurd prices...

keep it up, we need more good 737's... there aren't many around ;)

superb work saying you're that age mate! I started at 11 too.

as for the pmdg 737, imho its a bit expensive and it is also a bit of a waste of polys. there is no need for it to cause such a slowdown on some pc's; no need to use so many polys.
still, i'm hungry for a freeware 737 with vc. and bmi paints, naturally. keep up the good work :D !

Dano

If you want BMI paints, you'll be happy to know that this little guy will include paints of every airline that uses it! ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D
