At this time, not unless you have FS2002 Professional Edition.

OK,generally I work on Alias Maya software and with it's
.x exporter everything just works fine untill keyframe
animation(for gears,for example)is involved.
Makemdl reports error that says that scale animation is found, yet there are no scale animations in the model.

So, I should forget about designing new aircraft?
Hmm,and my new TU-334 aircraft model is almost
finished:

It's looking fine.

Now since you're exporting directly to an x file, that's a different story.  YOu still use the makemdl.exe, no need to go through gmax - technically.

The only advice I can give you is that when a "scale animation" has been found, in gmax, you apply a scale reset transform to the offending part.

Can't help you in the Maya->x->makemdl process.  Maybe someone else?
