If only for its excellent "freebie" 20-page booklet containing several of the excellent cutaway drawings for which "The Aeroplane"  is famous.

Included are classics like the Bristol Bulldog, Brabazon, Lightning F.1 ...

Database subject is the Gloster "Flatiron" .....a.k.a. Javelin interceptor.

Whooo, you're so persuasive!!!! I'ts a great Mag. The Aeroplane with the FlyFast mag are the better ones that keep my Spitfire database alive.

Thanks. Might be worth the purchase price at that. I was a regular subscriber for years until the cost went through the roof. I decided that spending the money on reference books I've always wanted would be a better investment - although I still find things in Aeroplane I never saw anywhere else.
