erm.. as far as I know YOU dont add the effect.
if the cfg is written properly for fs9 then the game engine will do the rest. its part of the effects engine after all..
Felix and co.. whaddya think?

I think we'll have to wait for the sdk. But I reckon it'll be a case of giving the vc glass a specific name..........

flying by the seat of the pants eh Felix.
and.. i think.. tbh it's just a case of actually having the window glass for the 'rain' to fall on and create the effect.. just like the 0,0,0 transparent area on a normal 2d panel would a) show the outside world and b) provide a 'base' for the rain to drop onto.. you dont have to name or do anything different with a 2d panel for the effect to show as far as I know so i doubt it'd be different with a 3d vc.
didnt need to do anything for it to happen with the lanc in cfs3.. but then.. API's and gamepacks change I guess.
be nice to know when M$ will release the gamepack.. hint hint.. anyone know?
