Need help with a texture

I have the qantas dc-3 for fs 2k2, (Which can be found here on simviation in the vintage section) and I'm using it in fs2k4. There are compatibility issues with this, the largest and most annoying of which is the fact that there are NO props on the airplane, whether the engine is running or not. I was thinking I could put the textures for it into the default dc-3 that comes with fs2k4, but I don't know how. Can anyone help me with this?..

Hi Macropodathist. I have no idea what that means. LOL
All aircraft have their textures asssigned differently. It's not possible to swap textures from one aircraft to another unless they're based on the same visual model by the same designer. The textures for a 3rd party DC-3 for FS2002 would not fit the FS2004 default. Sorry.
Either look round for a repaint of the default or a 3rd party DC-3 created with Gmax or FSDS2.

More bad news. The problem with the props not showing is due to the airplane model being made with FSDS 1. ACOF doesn't show props or animations on airplanes made with this utility.
There's a fix you can do to the Fs9.cfg file that will give you landing gear and animations but the props seem to be gone for good. I have a great Beechcraft Bonanza like that. I just figure that you only see the props for a minute or two before starting your engine so I fly it anyway.

Actually, the landing gear and flaps work fine. In fact, the landing gear works just like the default dc3, in that one whell will be halfway up before the other even starts, kinda like they're not working quite right. It's just no props, no animated exit, and no virtual cockpit. Other than that it's a great model..

Well, I managed to figure out how to put the texture into the default dc3, but I can only put one file in at a time, and the texture is made of many files. If one of you fine folks would be good enough to make a texture, or tell me what to rename the exsisting ones so they match up to the various parts of the plane, I can put it in there. The complete file can be found in the fs2002 vintage section here on simviation..
