Help with GMAX

Postby Mike Thurman » Sun Sep 07, 2003 11:32 am

I know really well how to do aircraft and scenery in GMAX, but have no idea how to texture or export the models I make.
Can someone please give me some help?
                       thanks

Mike,

I recommend posting in the design forum.  You're more likely to get an accurate response there! :)

(insert sound of being hit with a wet polygon)

Could it be that the thread was moved in here by an ever-helpful moderator?

From the FFDS Tutorials Section

Teturing in gmax

http://home.wanadoo.nl/r.j.o/skyraider/ ... apping.htm

This tutorial shows you how to apply texturemaps to 3D aircraft models, using the UVW Map and Unwrap UVW modifiers. This tutorial should be relatively easy to follow, even for beginners to 3D texturemapping.
