Hi Im having problems with my gmax scaling for the three views. When I enter numbers in the create rollout ro whatever, it either is way to small or way to big.

I really need help with this. What do I need to setup my units as meters? and then properties? meters, feet, inches, or anything.

Thanks. If you need a picture let me know.

Set your system units (Customize->Preferences )Systems unit Scale  to 1m=1unit

Leave that alone forever per saecula saeculorum ...

You can the set your modeling units (Customize -> Units Setup) to feet, etc.

Hmm it still doesnt seem right. Heres a picture

Image

Shouldnt three meters radius be alot fatter (not sure I havent modelled in gmax for quite sometime now and shouldnt 15m length or height (whatever be alot taller ???) (NOTE: That is the default view I have once I have made the part.)

If that doesnt work heres a link

It looks proportional - remember, your base is 6ft across, and the height looks to be a little more than twice the 2D 'width'....
