gmax aircraft - I NEED HELP PLZ

Right i have got fs2002 standard so therefore didnt have gmax with flight sim i downloaded gmax though through a web site i then got the makemdl plugin and put that into gmax i produced a plane and exported the file to a .mdl file i then found out wot to do next which was to produce the 4 folders of a plane (model, panel etc) i was then told to copy sound and panel cfg files to the appropriate directories and place a .air file and an aircraft.cfg file in the main plane folder and edit it to read it as my plane. So i did all that then when i go into flight sim it lists it in the list of aircraft but when i select it fs2002 closes and i dont no wot to do to get the aircraft working does anybody no wot to do and how to help me plz!!!!!!! thanx

not being picky but have you read various tutorials around? Felix or another one of us will point you in the right direction.. Try the freeflight design forums or search around these forums for previous posts. Or the "idiots guide..", even though aptly named, is a good place to look... lol.
