Excel Project

Postby jlvandem » Wed Jun 25, 2003 2:26 pm

As some of you may remember from my last post about this project several months ago (probally more like a year  ::) ) I've been working on a Cessna Citation Excel but have completely given up and was wondering if someone else would like to take over. My original plan was to start witht the Excel and then do the complete line of Citation Jets with the Citation X being next. The reason for doing all of this was that I didn't think there were enough quality business jets out there for FS2002. If anyone wants the project just post your e-mail and I'll send you a .zip file with everything I have on the Excel. Here's a pic of the work done so far...

Thanks.

Justin, dont give up man. That Citation looks beautiful, and im not playin around. Remember that models will always look 'lifeless' without textures, but this is just the model and it looks awesome. Unless its something real-world related, i think you should keep on. The FS community is in need of a good line of Citations..

BTW the problem i think with just giving it out or uploading it to 'abandoned files' pages is that no one really gets to finish it either, or if they do they never upload it. Ive been waiting for someone to 'transform' that B-2 over FSDS file over here into a real aircraft but no ones done it. I think you should go ahead and finish this beaut - youve done too much to give up now  :)

I keep telling myself the same thing to just keep at it but this thing has been in the works for like a year and a half and I just can't find the time to finish it. Plus FS-COF is coming out soon but I won't be getting it because of my slow computer so even if I do finish it, it won't be up to the standards everyone would want. I'm hoping someone will take it over from here.

The "Simviation Orphanage" can be a good repository...
