3-view sizes

Postby Oz » Sun Jun 01, 2003 8:05 pm

Anyone know what sizes i should make the 3-views? i got one and 'cut' it out (top, front, etc.) for my possible silverbird project. Anyone know how i should figure out what size to make it or an exact number?

BTW im using Gmax

There are other good tutorials in the gmax modelling section

Basically you want to make sure that your backdrops are scaled to each other ... but the recommended manner is to apply the backdrops as materials to a properly sized "plane" so you don't get the background images jumping about.

As a rule of thumb, in FSDS I try to keep my cropped backdrops to about 10 pixels a foot so that a 57 foot wingspan comes out to 570 pixels wide graphic.
