Ace. Which sim are you designing for? FSDS2 features the Gmax-style animation. The existing FSDS1.6 animation tags would not be used except for FS2000 aircraft.

ya i know, im using it 4 CFS2 and then the user can import it to FS2002 if he feels like it, bur when i open a FSDS1 file in FSDS2 this window comes up sayin that the parts are tagged for and that that is no longer in use, and asks if i want the program to change all the tags for me and put FSDS2 tags on.....

OK. The option is to remove the existing tags, not replace them. As this is for CFS2/FS2002 click Yes. This means you will have to reanimate each part individually using the new part naming conventions. Things like retracting gear & sliding canopies will also need keyframe animation. There's a section on this included in FSDS2 Help.
