How Do I Export in Meters

How Can iI export my model in meters?? i changed my units to meters using the customize/units setup in the main tool bar. but when i go to export it says the model wasnt stored in meters and when i look at it in fs2002 is HUGE!!!! >:( >:( can some one plz help....

firstly, you want to customize it in the first way so..
click Customize> units setup> metric> and change it to meters .
Next, because gcraps is naff in the head, click...
Customize> preferences> then at the top, where you see 'system unit scale', change it to 1.0 = meter
Bingo ;)

Might need to resize your model now mind you.  8)

Dan - as a sidebar - I've also read that as long  as you have your system unit scale set to 1.0=meter, it doesn't matter whether your units setup is metric, or English....?

(just curious - haven't gotten to that chapter yet)

sometimes only doing one works for me, other times it doesnt.
but still, better to be on the safe side and do both ways- that way you know there wont (or shouldnt) be a prob with the scaling\ meters thing.

Dann Thanx it WORKED!!! ;D ;D IT has been driving me CRAZY for like 3 months... for some reason it didnt work untill i did change Customize/Preferences/1.0=meter
