When i add the texture to the area which im working on which is the face, the texture appears a bit zoomed in after i fit it in. Can anyone tell me how and if its possible to adjust the zoom level so the face wont look all smeared like this:

Oz. You don't say which modelling program this is. I assume the texture is a photo wrapped around the front of the head. In this case, try stretching the photo image or extend it by adding borders to it. This will allow it to fit around the object properly. You will need to experiment. Use existing pilot textures for reference.

PS. To show you what I'm getting at I quickly hashed this up from the CFS2 default US pilot.

In actual fact I can't see a lot wrong with your pilot. He's a lot better looking than most examples I've seen.  ;D

Well, it dont look like that no more. I changed the texture to see if there was any improvement. After pickin the pilot face for the CFS3 'Biggs' pilot, heres what i got:

I say he looks a tad like Michael Jackson from some angles

That's more like it. ;)
I can't help with your other problem. Gmax is a complete mystery to me & I can't run CFS3 on this machine.  ::)
