European Fighter Aircraft

I am looking for an expert on the EFA 2000 flight control system.
I have read conflicting reports about the wing trailing edge control surfaces  --  flaperons or elevons.  I have also read that the canards provide roll control.

Can somebody please enlighten me on this subject.

I requested information from the RAF museum, but they told me that they do not have one yet, so they don't know. ;D

Believe it or not, I understand the Eurofighter's trailing edge control surfaces double as flaps, elevators & ailerons...nutty eh!.

The Canards though do act as elevons though..that's a definate.

Thank you David.  How on earth do you combine all of those motions into one control surface ?

I have completed my model for FS2002 some time ago, except for the control animations.  I suppose I will now have to try and figure out what to do with it.

It's quite simple...(in Gmax) you just group the part and name it differently a number of times eg for the canards, I named them as l_elevator and r_elevator, then grouped them individually as l_aileron and r_aileron...

Thanks David.  From my experience, nothing is ever simple.  Anyway, I will try to get everything working in FSDS2.
