HOW DO I CHANGE THE POSSITION OF THE AXIS???

im doing the landing gear doors now, and i need to change the possition of the axis without changing the possition of the part itself.

how do i do that???

HELP PLEASE!! :(

Look in FSDS2 Help/Contents/Overview/Basics.

"In Move mode, you can relocate the part axis by holding the Shift-key and dragging the part axis and dropping it at the desired position."

You can use the Constrain buttons to restrict movement to the desired direction.

Or ..  for a precise translation  of axis..

Transform->Translate
(enter the precise x,y,z distances you want the axis to move) click on "axis only" and hit enter...

Another useful tool is the "Center Axis To Part" menu command.
