Is it possible to pull an Ai aircraft from the aircraft folder and make it player flyable? If so how?

Yes it is possible. Open the AIR file in AirEd & change the Aircraft Type from 2 to 0. The CFS1 default AI drones do not look particularly great or perform well as flyable aircraft. If you try to correct this by modifying the AIR file it might upset their behaviour as AI aircraft.
