Hey guys, working on a homebuilt aircraft design for my senior thesis here. I spent the summer working out the concept and basic sizing, now looking to estimate all of the performance more accurately. I have been using a modified roncz worksheet (im designing a canard-pusher) in conjunction with XFLR5. Roncz leaves a lot to wish for, seeing as it requires estimation of a lot of input parameters and then doenst play too nice with the modified configuration of the canard. I have been using XFLR5 to fill in the holes here, and my partner and I will be using CFD to verify XFLR5 results. What I really want is AirplanePDQ to estimate aircraft performance but the companies out of business and I cant find the software anywhere on the internet. Are there any alternatives?
