Hi Guys, I wonder if anyone can assist. I used to create aircraft for FSX under the name Simshed and have been thinking about getting back into the game for MSFS 2020. I appreciate that the entire process will have changed so what I'm looking for is a breakdown of what's involved now and best methods/software etc to use. Is the any guides out there anywhere?

Sorry I can not be of much help but as per today create new MSFS aircraft seems quite difficult still there is no a free one and there are 7 payware.
There is a way of converting FSX aircraft but is far from good:

You can try to get familiar with the program, a good reference is this conversion of the Fokker XXI from Dutcheesblend:

But in any case It seems that for a new aircraft only can be used few items of an FSX one.

I haven't seen anything about creating from scratch. But it doesn't mean info isn't out there.

I have seen this about converting. There will be more too. It may give you an idea of a step in the right direction?
