FS9-keys not properly working in FSX

Hi all,

I would appreciate it very much if someone could explain to me why FS9-keys sometimes do not work in FSX. Example: I do have a Nord-2502 for FS9 that flies great in FSX, but all keys except the concordenose/visor keys and the tailhook key give no reaction in FSX. And if it might be "repairable" I would love to know how ofcourse.

Safe landings,

hertzie.

Check your button assignments in the control panel to make sure it is assigned.

I did. More than twice. If it was that simple I wouldn't have asked the question.

the key commands shouldn't have anything to do with the specific aircraft, even if it's an FS9 conversion. Can you be specific about which key commands aren't working?

I've experienced similar problems with FS9 aircraft in FSX, possibly those created with FS Design Studio. Not sure there is a solution. :|

Update: I got the Concorde nose visor commands working on the Nord with a simple tweak of the AIR file. Change the Airframe Type value to 5943 like this. *

No luck with the passenger door operated by the Tailhook command. Still working on it.

Hey Hagar,

That's EXACTLY as far as I have been so far: changed the air.file with these 5943 numbers. Lazarus once taught me how to do so, but I had to look everywhere in my dungeons to find his instructions till I finally did. And with me it's also the tailhook-key still not working, so I sent him an email to ask him if he has ideas which number should solve BOTH problems. I'll let you know what comes out.

But thanks for your interest in solving my problem(s)!!. I also have an FS2002 Blackhawk with a non-spinning tailrotor, maybe a change in the air.file could solve that problem too? I'll try tonight.

Cheers,

hertzie.

I've had no luck on the Tailhook command I'm afraid. Please let me know if you figure it out.

Hi Hagar,

I tried #6968, 8249,10522 and 9016, all planes with tailhook. No results so far. Will continue.

Still no luck with the tailhook-key, so I decided to give up.
