Hidden Files
Posted: Tue Mar 11, 2014 4:41 pmI've noticed lately that a number of uploads contain hidden files. The latest being "B777-200ERMalaysian_FSX.zip" .
I know how to find them but others, I guess, have no clue. " viewtopic.php?f=17&t=168861 "
It's simple. Find "folder options" in "control panel" on most OSs, click on "view" and check "show hidden files"
Now that you can see them, you need to un-hide them. Right click on the hidden file and choose "properties" and at the bottom in attributes un-check "Hidden" and click on Apply.
Wah-lah, all fixed, no need to post another thread on the same subject again.
On the other hand, it would be nice if our developers wouldn't hide them to start with. In a Freeware file there is no reason for it.
