Ryanair paint?

search the flightsim sites for "Ryan737rp.zip", around 500kb. I had no probs with textures, they worked fine for me. More efficient than my mapping ever is LOL.

kind regards,

Moach,

Well done.  DL'd it yesterday and flew a few approaches with it last night.  Very nice, love having a DVC.

Moach: I found that plane a couple of days ago; didn't notice it was yours until I D/L'ed it. Man....

YOU ARE A GOD!!

Utterly superb piece of work!

Now I just have to beg and plead for someone to make an Air Canada skin... ;)

As I said in my email to you, this is something I've been hoping for, for a long time. Beautiful work!! And I still can't believe it's your first attempt.

I've just finished creating all new base textures for the fuselage, engines and tail, and have uploaded an Alaska Airlines repaint at Avsim. Should appear in the next cycle.

Just a couple of small bugs I noticed. There's no dynamic shine on the engines and the light splash on the right fuselage is missing. But what a glorious bird your team has created. You can bet there will be more liveries coming.

Coneman,

Just DL'ed your Alaska livery - excellent!

To make the right fuselage splash show properly, go to settings-display-hardware, and make sure the 'hardware lighting effects' slider is hard across to the right.

Update on this issue:

The problem appears to be that the number of entries in the [LIGHTS] section of the the aircraft.cfg seems to be overpowering the FS lighting display engine. If you do the following, this will (hopefully) fix it:

- in the [LIGHTS] section, find the line:

light.13=4,  43.8,  0,  4.3, fx_vclight

- put a semicolon (;) at the start of the line. FS then can't see this line. It will then apply its display capability to another effect, which will be the starboard splash effect. (There are 2 other VC light effects so it shouldn't make a difference.)

Worked for me!

:)

Microlight,
Thanks for that fix. It worked great!! I'll include your instructions with future repaints. Braathens is ready with Aloha next.
