Why would you need to change the FDE?

Why would you need to change the FDE?

Brandon comes out with updates every now and again.

Is it really that hard? :-?

back up the original FDE (aircraft.cfg and the .air file) to a location of your choice

Just match up the .air files and find the corresponding cfg file. open the old and the new cfg file in note pad. copy the [filghtsim.XX] entries from the old cfg and overwrite the ones on the new one. delete the old FDE. rename the new FDE (the one that has -Aircraft at the end) to "Aircraft" w/o quotes. and voila, a new FDE :)
