DC-3

Postby Jet Black1 » Sun Sep 21, 2008 10:53 am

I have five DC-3's and I realy like the way the MAAM sim DC-3 fly's.
What can I do to make all my DC-3's fly just like the MAAM sim one?
Thanks
Greg

Hi Greg,

don't know if this will work so make some backups first. Have you tried copying the MAAM sim airfile (.air extension) to the other aircraft, renaming it to their original ones? As I understand this is the file that tells FS how an aircraft should behave.

Crash ;)

There are parts on the CFG that make a difference as well

If you do take the parts from the MAAM you will need to make sure the paint entries and the contact points, effects sections etc remain as they have refence points to the model.

Best thing as Crashalot suggests is to make a copy then you can play arround a bit and just try the 'air file first as that might make it near enough for you're liking

One other thing I just thought of

There are quite a few default FDE upgrades available some done by people involved with the MAAM and tuned to give a more realistic filght

There are better panels as well so perhaps check that out if you have not already

There is one upgraded package including the model as well....comes in Eastern I think
