Updating Project Nearly Complete

Postby CAFedm » Thu May 03, 2007 3:44 am

Pending arrival of FSX SP1, my updated project (for FS9 & FSX) is pretty well ready to go. Am crossing my fingers that the SP will address gauge backlighting and maybe even landing lights; if so, then there is no further work to do before uploading. If not, I have a plan B for landing lights, but the gauges will not be as bright as in FS9. Other than these items, I would like to know if anyone may be interested in giving it a try out, to iron out any other items that may require attention before uploading. Some pics below of the FS9 version, which is compiled and ready to send out. It totals 17MB in size - if wanting to test it, please let me know how you would like to have it sent over, and many thanks.

Time to go see what outdoors looks like now!

Thanks for the offer, no expectation of spending hours testing it out, just giving it a few thrill rides :) at your leisure and ensuring all the effects and gauges work as they should. Thanks again -

Kinda looks like a Rafale  8-)
What do I do you ask? I struggle! Then destroy! Then try to put back together what I just broke on accident.....

Maddeningly nifty!  What are its specs, and what is it?

Thanks - this is my homegrown design (CF-220 Grizzly). An earlier incarnation is available for upload, but this one's been completely reworked (as in, every part having been modified for lower poly count and better appearance). Funny thing is, with the VC and other improvements, the total poly count is 56% of the original, shows how much there is to be learned in designing these things! As for specs, top speed (FL500) is Mach 2.5, service ceiling 65,000 ft, has enough fuel to "supercruise" at around Mach 1.8 for approximately 2000-2500 miles depending upon altitude. Some FSX pics here.
