What is 'hand flyer' aerodynamics

Postby DoubleBounce » Mon Jan 01, 2007 3:07 am

Could someone please explain what the term 'hand flyer' aerodynamics means.

I am new to the FS World and have a lot of questions.

I don't know if that term has been "copyrighted" or not, but it seems to be used generically for "realistic".. as in, "you can easilly fly it by hand".

I suppose that's subjective.   ::)   Easy and realistic are kind of mutually exclusive when it comes to flying a simulator... or a real airplane  ;)

Brett - and all we have to do is whisper "gmax"  and "make your own airplanes" ... and "SDK"  and soon we'll have reeled in another unspuspecting victim into the designing simmer fold!

Being a person who has built model airplanes since the 40's you can rest assured that I will be entering this asylum.

I have spent hundereds of hours "super detailing" plastic models until my hands would no longer allow it.

This looks like a place where I should fit right in.

Re-inventing the wheel is a total waste of time, so please be patient with my sometimes dumb questions,  Inquiring minds need to know.
