LODs in gMax

Postby Travis » Wed Mar 22, 2006 3:50 pm

Right now I'm going through each part of my aircraft (nearly 200 objects in the exterior alone! :o) and adding "_LOD_400" to each one.

Only your topnode dummy needs the LOD tag.
Say you have a dummy "myaircraft_LOD_100" next link the fuselage to it (which should have all other parts below it in the hierarchy) and you're done.

Thank you, sir!  Now all I need to figure out is how to make LODs! :P ;D
