I think the shifter looks a bit too small there, Kat.   ;)

Thanks for letting me know. I didn't notice it.

Ok, this is getting annoying and it's mindboggling me even further.

I managed to get the car from sinking into the ground, however the car keeps getting lifted off the ground as if being up by the nose. I check the wheel contacts as many as 1,000 times already and I made sure that the engine was turned off. Engine has no effect, but the car keeps flipping. I checked the suspension and damper values.

I still can't figure it out. How do you people keep your plane addons from flipping? Somehow, I DON'T think that setting the Dampening ratio to "1" would even help.

Never mind.

I finally understood why it was flipping. The geometry values in the aircraft.cfg file seem to require some values in order to reduce the flipping effect of the dynamics. Now, all I gotta do now is tweak the turns and engine power.

The chevy turns great. Even at over 100 knots, it's stable and stays on a straight line with realism set to HARD.

As for the turns, it turns nicely at around 30 knots and requires some realistic adjusting of throttle input and rudder input in order to keep it stable. However, it you keep reving up while turning, the car would flip.

I am intending to make separate models for the package so as to include variations of both textures and models.

Here is the latest screenshot with front suspension parts highlighted for better viewing. This will be my first use of animated suspensions on a car addon.

Tell me, how many other car addons do you see that have suspensions like these. ;)

Well, everyone. I have just uploaded a Beta version of the addon. It should be posted in about a day or two.

Well.... I havent ever seen that kinda suspensionin rea llife to begin with. Much less one in FS. Thats ethier a tortion bar suspension which I dont think was invented yet when that car was around, or its a IFS setup without coil spring. Either way somthing isn't right.

I would suggest putting a coil around your Shock absorber there. That shock abosrber only stops quick sudden movements. Its not ment to support the car.(think of its as like a screen door thingy if you push it in fast it wont close but if you pull it in slow and easy it will close.)
Not a major problem. seeing as how we probly wont see that anyhow. Thats paying attention to detail. I like that. ;)

Edit: BTW the bottom part of your shock absorber is to big. :)
