Falcon 50 CEA in fs9 (Rendering problem)

Postby Gary R. » Thu Oct 28, 2004 9:38 am

I would love to be able to use my favorite business jet, the Yannick Lavigne Falcon 50 in fs9 but whenever I install it there seems to be a rendering problem with the model.  The landing gear won't display and the airstair door will not close.  This occurs on both the full version and the lite, non virtual interior version.  I have traded messages about this with a few people that claim they have no problem using that specific model in fs9 but I haven't had any success getting it right in the COF.  Does anyone else have this model working correctly in fs9?  If so, how did you do it?  What are your display settings? I have my 9200 set for performance on all settings to keep frame rates high. Could that cause a problem with rendering of some aircraft models?

Have you re-downloaded it since you upgraded to 2k4?  If not, there may be something in the download that others have that is an update.  You should go find it again, and if that doesn't work, check to see if the aircraft.cfg files match that of other people's.

Okay. I'll give that a try.  As I remember I think it was either Hagar or Fozz that said it was working fine inn their FS9.  But, yes. It is the fs2002 updated one that I have and I haven't seen that Yannick Lavigne and his partners have done a FS9 version yet but maybe the one I have may have still had FS2000 elements in that makes it not work right in FS9.  I will try that.  If that doesn't work I will download an fs9 compatible 3 engined dasualt and attempt to copy the falcon 50 panel to it.
