Hi
I've cut the flap and airilon out from the wing, their named correctly but in the sim they don't work proberly.
I followed the tutorial in the tutorials page on the Free Flight Design Studio site but still don't know whats going wrong
I really do need to get this sorted out cause not only is it bugging me, but people don't like planes that don't have moveable surfaces nowadays
Any help would be very much appriciated

You're going to have to explain what the problem is.

Make sure you have the aileron and flap settings correct in the aircraft.cfg file. Tagging the parts and setting the pivot points correct in the modelling program is one thing, but if your aircraft.cfg file doesn't have the appropriate entries, nothing is moving.

Heres a picture

Its a bit hard to explain but here goes:
The flaps move up and down but they don't look like flaps should.
The airilons move forward and backword around the centre of the airilons
Thanks

Check the orientation and placement of the pivot points. (axis)

How do i know if the pivot points are in the right place ??? At the moment i have them centred to part.
Do i need to leave the axis where it is when i'm making animations like the flaps, airilons, elevators etc?
Thanks

The axis has to be where you want the parts to hinge.
