old flight sim aircraft from 98 etc up to fs9

hello all i was wondering with the time and effort if it is possible to rebuild or upgrade certain aircraft to fs2002 or fs9 standards for use i see alot of aircraft that id like to try just not fs 2002 or 2004 and the aircraft are out there

Basically - the basic model file format of pre FS2002/SDK aircraft are not really compatible with FS9, so they are not "fixable" without what would basically be a total rebuild.

In addition, the old(er) models lack much of the eye candy that FS2002 and FS2004 allow.

Your best bet is to post in the "aircraft wanted" forum which models/aircraft you want.
