autopilot gauge problem!

Postby Moach » Wed Apr 07, 2004 3:03 am

i was trying to place the autopilot gauges in my 737 and i ran into the following complication:

i placed the default 737 ap gauge in my vc... the gauge's background is looks flawlessly sharp but the numbers are rather unreadable
they look squashed, they have the right lenght but not the proper height, so you get a lot of flat numbers

and also, the gauge appears in it's 2D panel version, the default plane has the same gauge applied to the 2d panel and to the VC entry in the .cfg but it looks completely different the VC

my questions are:
1- how do i get the numbers to display right?
2- how do i get the autopilot gauge to look the way it does on the VC?
If nature wanted a man to fly - It would have given him more money

Sounds to me that the window size set for your vc may not be big enough. Either not wide or not high enough and the window is compressing it to make it fit try resizing the window where the gauge is. I have seen this happen before the window will alter the gauge to make it fit. 8)
