uvw invalidate coordinates

Postby gervaldi » Tue Mar 16, 2004 9:39 am

Hi:
I`m new in this field, but I`m trying lo learn.
I made a wheel in gmax 1.2 with the latest makemdl from skk FS2004 named r_wheel_still and textured it.
Then I cloned it and rename the clone as r_wheel_slow, when I try to export to a *.mdl file, a message saying something like this appears "r_wheel_still has UVW invalidate mapping coordinates"  and the model can`t be exported. What is happening? How can I fix this?
Thanks.

It sounds as if you have a texture applied without mapping.

Thanks for the reply.
Yes it was r_tire_still  :-*
So there is not r_tire_slow tag? My mistake...
The object had a map applied to it for each side, and after that a UVWUnwrap for each side. But the problem has gone. I selected each uvWmap modifier to see what was going on, everything was fine, and after that (no changes) I try to re-export the scene and everything was Ok, the *mdl file was generated. But I have deleted the r_tire_slow object.
