Coming at this from a different angle.  Procedure for normally aspirated light planes is to add carbuerator heat prior to landing, because carb icing is more likely at low engine speed.  Heat is added when the engine power is reduced "out of the green" for final descent.  The result is leaning out of the mixture (heated air is less dense).   What happens is that engine speed is reduced when the heat is applied.  I think the value should be a reduction of about 100 rpm in a 152 or 172.

First, can any real-world pilots confirm that number?

Second, how would one adjust that number in the air or cfg files?
