G-max and size

Postby Delta_ » Fri Jan 16, 2004 7:16 pm

I downloaded the g-max jet engine from this site, as i was interested in what was needed to be done for jet engines in G-max.

With Gmax, the possibilities are almost endless.

Gmax objects DON'T have to be large in order to be visible or exported to FS.

What dictates the size of the object in FS is the unit of measure used in Gmax. EX: If 1 unit [one grid square] = 1 meter and if the object is 20 units long and 10 wide, then in FS the object will appear to be 20 meter long and 10 meters wide.

So, you can control the unit of measure in the Unit Setup.

You can also scale down or scale up any object, regardless of what shape it has and regardless if it already was shaped.
