I believe that you're just using FSEditor in FS2002 Pro?

While that "creates" a flightsim plane, you haven't actually made the visual model.  For that you need one of the modelling programs - FSDS2 or gmax.

Look into the "model" folder of the airplane you created and you probably will see "nomodel.mdl"  that is just an empty "shell" on which the other parts that you've created are hung.  The result is you have a panel that you've assigned, but  visually, nothing.

Check the thread "flightsim modelling programs" and the Simviation Aircraft Design Page (URL in my signature).

What is actad?

Presumably you'd have to export as a direct X file and then use makemdl.exe (available from the Microsoft FS2002 SDK site) to compile it into FS2002/FS9.

Note that if you want animations, etc., the appropriate parts must be tagged and animated (as necessary) in actad.

If by any chance, you mean AD2002 LT by ACT publishing, then you'll have to follow the tutorials because that's a different approach to flightsim modelling than "usual" 3d modelling.

I have no clue, since you haven't indicated what "actad" is ...  where did you get it from, etc.

Then you have to follow the tutorial and make your own model ....  start with the "RFO".

AD2002 has a different approach to that taken by gmax/fsds.
