Why does this happen to me? I have been using the family laptop since it was bought for 5 months ago and it has been working fine playing fsx at 15-30 (about 5 on ground) and run every other game fine but. Now Fsx is running max 10 fps ysflight nfs uc and wolfquest frame rates have dropped 60%. what can be wrong My specs are:

Hp presario cq62 notebook
Windows 7 starter 32 bit
DirectX 11
Pentium(R) Dual-core CPU
2gb ram
Mobile intel(R) 4 series express chipset family

First things I'd do is a disk cleanup (CCleaner is good for this) and a defrag and see if that makes a difference. Then I'd look at maybe updating drivers and seeing what happens.
Also open the case and check the fans aren't clogged with dust and causing overheating issues.
