Wow, I tried those settings and my system didn't even POST at those voltages. I think the reason for the massive discrepancies is that I have a C0 stepping i940, whearas all the cool kids must have a D0 stepping. I switched to the 21x multiplier and a 189 base clock, which requires 1.4v; It won't pass Linpack testing above that speed no matter what voltage is applied (It doesn't give me the bsod, but instead just tells me I failed the tests). So 3.97 is as high as it will go for me, and I probably ought to back it off from there. Darn!
